Our Fiber Art zone features everything you need to bring your creative vision to life, including home and industrial sewing machines and sergers, large and small specialized ironing boards, irons, a large variety of fabrics, notions and small tools. The large tables not only provide for a great place to lay out long lengths of fabrics but will also combine for an 8×8 surface for those larger projects. For the quilter, we have a design wall and long-arm quilting machine. For customizations there is an embroidery machine along with a variety of heat presses for sublimation or Heat Transfer Vinyl.
Another section of the zone houses tools and supplies for the non machine fiber crafts like knitting and crocheting along with cross-stitch and embroidery. We also have folks who do bobbin lace, tat and felting.
A leather working area is also part of Fiber Arts. The hand tools and supplies in the area can provide the opportunity to create or enhance any project with this medium. You can choose to hand sew or use the leather-ready sewing machines.
There’s strong community in the Fiber Arts zone, helped by regular “Stitch and Bitch” and “Quilty Pleasures” sessions.
